Zachary Rusk

Bass

Zachary Rusk, baritone, attended Baldwin-Wallace University, where he studied Vocal Performance. He has worked with multiple professional theater companies around Ohio, including Opera Per Tutti, Ohio Light Opera and Trumpet in the Land, where he recently served as Music Director and Assistant Stage Director for their productions of Les Misérables and Assassins. Past roles include Somnus in Semele, Jupiter in Orpheus in the Underworld, Pooh-Bah and Ko-Ko in The Mikado, Leporello in Don Giovanni, Sir Joseph Porter in H.M.S. Pinafore and The Boor in the Dominick Argento adaptation of the Chekov play of the same name. Zachary can also be heard at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, where he performs as a soloist and sings with the Cathedral Choir and Chamber Singers. Past concert engagements include the Tuscarawas Philharmonic’s Broadway in May concert, Peter and Pontifex in Bach’s St. Matthew Passion and bass soloist in Trinity Cathedral’s recent performances of Mozart’s Requiem and Brahms’ Ein deutches Requiem.
